44-year-old Wang Tun has built the world's largest earthquake early warning (EEW) system, covering 2.2 million square kilometers in China and 90 percent of the population in earthquake-prone areas. Residents in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province, received an earthquake alert 61 seconds before the seismic waves arrived from earthquake's epicenter at Changning on Monday.
